About MTGYLA
Manheim Township's lacrosse tradition began in the late 1990s when several high schoolers came together to establish club teams for boys and girls. Since then, the sport has grown both in popularity and success. Manheim Township School District now has highly competitive PIAA Varsity and Junior Varsity teams for boys and girls, and the youth programs are flourishing. MTGYLA was formed to build skills and the love of the game from an early age, supporting their transition to high school competition. Our youth program continues to grow, and we are proud of our players' enthusiasm for and dedication to America's oldest sport.
Our board consists of parent volunteers committed to delivering an enriching program that develops athletic skill, team work, perseverance, and joy for the game.
Our teams practice at Weaver Road Athletic Complex at 2800 Weaver Road in Lancaster. Game days are held at Manheim Township High School. Our annual Rock the Cages Tournament is held at Weaver Road Athletic Complex. We look forward to seeing you on the field!
